This month and throughout the year, Child Enrichment encourages all individuals and organizations to play a role in making the CSRA a better place for children and families. By ensuring that parents have the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to care for their children, we can help prevent child abuse and neglect by creating strong and thriving children, youth, and families. The staff of Child Enrichment are available to make free child abuse prevention presentations to adults and youth in the CRSA. To schedule a presentation, contact Child Enrichment at 706-737-4631.

Child Enrichment has helped over 22,500 children since 1978.  Last year, Child Enrichment, through its two programs, the Child Advocacy Center (CAC) and the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program, found safe permanent homes, provided counseling, forensic interviewing or court advocacy for 1,061 victims of child abuse and 465 non-offending parents, caregivers, and siblings along with providing expert testimony in prosecutions of alleged child sex offenders. Child Enrichment is a safe haven for child victims and all service are specialized and free of charge.Children who have suffered abuse will be provided the needed counseling and support to help them recover. They will learn to thrive despite the past, and most are able to become strong, capable and confident with the help of our Child Advocacy Center. Today, Child Enrichment has over 300 children in Burke, Columbia and Richmond Counties being served by our CASA Program.  CASA will be involved with the hundreds of neglected children who have been removed from their parents this year until a safe and permanent home is found for each of them.
